Bed and Breakfast in our family house on Dartmoor.
We offer 2 double rooms, one above, in a completely self contained annexe.
With it's own front door and staircase and en-suite shower-room.
This double room above has an adjacent private bathroom
Tea and coffee making are in the room along with fresh milk.
Perfectly placed at the foot of Meldon, just a 10 minute walk from
charming Chagford. With views all around, this is a busy family house with pets and a country living lifestyle.... Say hello to
'Tookie' the parrot, choose a good
book and take a tray of tea
into the garden. This is the place to relax.
Breakfast is served in the house dining room with lots of
good
local produce, our own free range eggs and fresh fruit.
The cost for the annexe is £70 per night for 2 people
including breakfast. Taken as a single it is £50.
The double room with private bathroom- see above is £ 60
per night including a cooked breakfast.
The small single along the landing is £20 for a child and £40 for an
adult..... (anyone over 16.) It does not have
en-suite facilities,
and we usually let it along with one of the other two rooms.
This means that the person in the single room then shares
whichever bathroom facilities are available.
Guests are welcome to come and go as they please.
Sorry but we do not take credit cards.
There is however a 'hole in the wall' in the town.
There are lots of gardens open to the public in this area.

Chagford has a busy Flea
Market each Friday morning
and the town holds a busy general auction 4 times a
year.
The two hardware shops in the Square at Chagford are renowned throughout the World.
You will find 4 pubs and several eateries in the town
along with an excellent Deli called Black's.
